So, Canon releases new 100D and 700D entry-level dSLRs. 100D is world’s smallest and most lightweight dSLR camera :)

They probably needed to differentiate the 1100d series a little better and made it 100d – smaller :) 1100D was looking to much like xxxD series

I think especially the 700D is a bit disappointing because there’s no any major difference with 650D.

They just found a way to drop the overall prices, but keep high prices for the top 5 cameras. The prices are so high like in all specs and tests they make it best, but it’s just not like that. Nikon always get better depth of field and color tones while Canon always comes with extreme low light performance.

I would switch to Canon if they would drop the prices.

Coming from old film medium format, i never liked lightweight cameras. I like to feel the weight of the body and lense on my hands while i’m using it.
