Hi all!

I’m curious to hear what online apps you use in your daily business. Maybe we can create a list and help eachother become a little bit more productive :)

Apps I can’t live without:

Moneybird This app is made to manage your invoices, quotes etc. Easy to use interface without any clutter. Love it!

Google apps No need to explain this I think. Google mail and calander are probably the most important apps I use every day. I would like to make the shift to google docs too, but it doesn’t seem to render all documents very well.

Dropbox This is gold. Pure digital gold. Automatic online syncing with a folder on your pc/mac. This means you always have all your files, anywhere you go, on any pc/mac you touch.

Spotify Not directly work related, but it calms me :) All your mucis, anywhere you go. No more 100gb music libraries to cary around. No, just one app. Done.

What does this all mean for me? I no longer have to worry about data loss, or location. I can do my work at home or at work, in New York or Barcelona (I tested this ofcourse ;)) and take everything with me automaticly.

I probably forgot about a ton of them, but it’s a start ;) Let’s hear your ‘can’t live without’ apps!

Chrome – Fast no matter how many tabs I have open.

Espresso – gets all my web development work done. My favorite coding app.

Transmit – pretty damn solid FTP client. Truthfully, I don’t use it that often, but when I do, it works well.

Photoshop – Need I say more?

Twitter for Mac – I just love it. Very friendly to use and looks good and updates instantly. Excellent.

Reeder – A huge time waster for me everyday. It’s a RSS feed reader and a gorgeous one at that. I just can’t resist the urge to click on the icon when there are new posts.

Wunderlist – I didn’t like it at first, but now it’s my go-to application to keep my tasks organized. And it syncs to the cloud and there’s a web app as well.

Sparrow – Email. Looks good. Functions even better. What more could you want?

Skype – my chat application of choice, although it has its quirks sometimes…

Spotify – I can’t work without music.

FolderWatch – Used to sync my web design/development folders with Dropbox before I got an external HDD and started using Time Machine.

VMware – Not that I particularly want to use it because it’s just for testing IE, but it’s hella amazing application.

Dropbox – A great cloud storage solution (available literally everywhere: Mac, PC, web, Android, etc)

Boom – Amplifies my MacBook Pro’s (normally quiet) speakers

CloudApp – Lifesaver for quickly uploading an image. I just snap a screenshot with OS X ’s built in screenshot feature, and it instantly uploads it with no input from me. Love it.

That’s about it. :)

@AlexPascal That’s one hell of a list! I did mean web-apps btw ;) Still, thanks for sharing!

I forgot one important web-app I use daily:

Apollo (http://www.apollohq.com/) Easy project management with task lists, message boards etc. Love it! The interface is quite clean for all the options they offer, and they’re also quite active when it comes to customer feedback.

Man, thank you for mentioning Spotify! I just spent the last four hours listening to all of those old Rush albums I can’t find anymore. La Villa Strangiato and Finding My Way! Great stuff. I love that you can stream anything you want, and it starts immediately.

Thanks Alex!
