Hi @HawkTheme your payment was processed on the Sept 27. We have also sent you this information via support and it is available in the PDF we sent you.

For everyone else- The reason for the SWIFT payment delay this month was a technical issue that resulted in a few SWIFT codes being read incorrectly by the bank in Australia. This issue has been resolved and if you have organised to receive your next withdrawal via SWIFT you will not experience any issues.

Carmen, thanks for clarifying. So the issue is on the Australian bank’s side.

Although the delay is painful for some authors, I guess staffs dealing this issue too the victim of huge struggle, thanks for your efforts. :)

So the issue is on the Australian bank’s side.

what I understood is that envato provided incorrect payment info to the bank and the bank was unable to make the payments.

It also appears that no one verified if the payments had been made. I’m not an expert in how accounting works but if you send some money is logical to check if they had been processed. Shouldn’t the bank send some feedback confirmation text “payment done/payment error” for each transaction?

anyway this is what I got from the explanation, if further details can clarify if the error was on the envato side or the bank it will be great. This, off course not to make the blame game, important fact is that the issue had been fixed.

Hi Doru and VF, Yes, the reason for the SWIFT payment delay this month was a technical issue that resulted in a few SWIFT codes being read incorrectly by the bank in Australia. This technical issue was on our side and was only discovered when the bank could not process some payments.

The majority of SWIFT users did not experience an overly long delay, however, those whose numbers were read incorrectly had to wait for the payments to be processed by the Australian bank and then by their local bank. The delay was increased because of the time differences and the opening hours of the banks.

This situation is not ideal for anyone involved. We understand how stressful and upsetting it can be waiting for banking information and money to pay the bills. Which is why as a result of this, we have been working on improving our payment system and making sure that similar issues do not occur in future. Unfortunately, these situations can sometimes happen and they are especially painful because they affect people in their pockets.

On behalf of Envato, I want to apologise to the 4 authors who were affected and assure you that the issue is resolved and will not affect your next withdrawals.
