Carmen, could you please take a look at BTP -593-12342 ticket? Having an issue with swift transfer.
Thanks
Received e-mail about sending money 10 hours ago, received money 30 minutes ago. Through SWIFT . But I’m not happy about the exchange rate, it was totally different than the last time. I thought that $ are converting to € in my bank, but obviously not because my bank has totally different exchange rate compared to the amount what I received. Does anybody know who makes the conversion? Where to check this exchange rate for future swift withdrawals?

Maybe it’s because the dollar is lower than the last time.
I looked everywhere and can’t find anything about it. According to what I received
$1 = 0.7126915 € that’s just too low…

the currency rate changes constantly. you can see the current value on various websites like this one
http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=EURbut the banks, paypal and the rest will usually have lower values. they make money with that margin.
is difficult to know what future rates will be, you will be billionaire if you knew this
what you can do is get “scammed” like the rest of us.
