Hey guys i have a question, problem and suggestion ! I want to change my few item’s thumbnail and preview images both. But problem is they take so much time to review our update files. So why not take that thumbnail and preview option outside the reviewing process ?
Guys need your opinion please… your opinion will help me a lot… Thanks.
For me, i would like this to be available, i’m sometimes thinking of it. I think this feature is clearly needed and useful to be be available, but, may be there is some idea for it to be as this current state !

Thumbanils and preview image are outside of the reviewing process (they get switched immediatelly).
Although I did notice they somethimes got in the que.

i think that a cron job needs to go over all of them to unzip them and copy them to the cdn, so it depends if you are in the cron period or not, at least that is what i think.

well not always..or not in all the marketplaces. on graphicriver everything except description goes in review queue. on codecanyon only files updates and tags goes in review queue. on themeforest not sure why/how but it’s random.
Some older files did not contain TAGS – Tags are now a main part of each file.
TAGS need to be updated, and Reviewers should check against existing items and new previews to make sure everything is as should be.
After all, the main Preview is one of the main attractions a buyer sees.
A bad Preview image could just mess everything up for both you and envato.
This is after all a business.
Last time My TAGS didn’t go through, they had to be input manually by the reviewer.
A thankless job, but most appreciated position to have available.
Imagine if My item was updated without no TAGS – No views No Sales…...
Etc., etc.
Hi SBJEWEL … for the image preview and thumbnail, you need about 4-5 hours to get approved… so fast…

I’ve seen 2 days – if there’s problems with the updates.

No, I never got problem with updates. I updates 3 items, for image preview and thumbnails, about 4-5 hours, except for main file….
