A simple question for you, I was thinking that could be useful to know who mostly buys your music on AJ? I mean, for instance, users from AJ, Videhive, or somewhere else? I hope that best costumer will answer ;)

Mhm .. everyone was asking himself this question in here … in my opinion I would count on some little green aliens. You know they are somewhere but they never want to be seen.

I always picture my buyers as little pixel people who gathered some coins on their adventure.

I was just thinking; obviously AudioJungle wants to protect the privacy of the customers, but perhaps they could make aan optional field for the buyer in which they could indicate for which purpose the item will be used. That way we would better know what to target our music on.

I agree with this ! Knowing how client use our music will help us to make more music in the right direction. But I understand if this unknown, I feel like a big puzzle wanting to be solved :)

Envato likely knows who and what percentage of what business sector or demographic buys our music. It might be helpful if they gave us some generic numbers to help us at least understand the market better. This might help us to at least target our potential customers, without any “invasions of privacy.”
