beetlesales, I know You want to be active on the forums, but lately all Your posts have been rude and not constructive at all.
I think we all can understand that the OP meant “selling”.
uckhandla, I’m sorry, but I can’t help You at this moment as I don’t live in India.
All the best,
Kris

Doesn’t matter what was implied. It’s what the post reads is what should be interpreted.

Please stop ruining the thread!
( My apologies uckhandla as I am kind of doing it too. )
Not everybody’s first language is English and You shouldn’t mock someone who makes some mistakes. Themeforest has a warm community.
As for the some kind of threatening and really inappropriate email You sent to me – this kind of behavior isn’t tolerated here. All the best to You and stop ruining Your already not so good reputation.

Excuse us for not being native English speakers. You must be a master. I do not think this conduit is suited for the forums, so please stop using it.

I’m following the rules. The thread states (as posted for proof) “Which Sales Tax or Income Tax will apply in India for salling Themeforest item ?”
I wasn’t clear on what exactly he meant, so I asked for clarification. No crime against that…

Back on topic please. All future posts should be answering the question or at least discussing it.
@uckhandla a fellow Indian author here might know, but for an official answer it’d probably be best to consult an accountant that knows the country’s tax laws.
Back to subject: man, nobody will knock your door and ask for taxes, people do that tricked by political campaigns but there is no law in the world to say taxes are mandatory, except VAT , and the laws regarding VAT apply to companies and affect us all….
As an employee, you cannot avoid paying them, but as a freelancer, you are a self employed, here it is you to decide if you pay or not a non-mandatory tax. Nothing is ever going to happen to them.
In the US, the government can even arrest you if you didn’t pay your tax, but that is just to scare you and force your obedience, and ultimately dumb you more. In India however, the second largest population in the world, do you really think the government or any other entity can track you one of the 1.5 billion Indians?
The governments are led by people who also avoid paying taxes, as you will always hear scandals about politicians being suspects of fraud, but those are nothing but political schemes.
