ThemeForest is the marketplace where you can make most profit from. Of course, building a good theme takes a lot longer than building a good plugin/song/picture/etc.

WHAT! Building a theme takes longer than building a script? BAHAHA.

100% of all themes lately are made WITH BOOTSTRAP. These guys are starting with a base, and changing css now.

The problem is that the marketplace is stuck in the old days, and they price items according to 1999 charts.

ThemeForest by far :) and after that probably VideoHive and CodeCanyon.

But also keep in mind that if you have a successful theme and you make tons of $$$ you will probably have to work almost full-time just to give support to the buyers, and make sure you update the theme when new versions of WordPress come out etc.

That’s the beauty with AudioJungle – once you’ve uploaded a song you’re done.

If you think that all we do is taking the bootstrap and modify-ing the css, you have definitely no idea what you’re talking about, please don’t mislead users.

@OP ThemeForest. But it requires way more work than any other marketplace.

@all ThemeForest authors:

I’ve always been curious about building WordPress themes, and I’m just wondering how much time exactly you do have to spend giving support and making sure everything’s up to date and working as intended?

I didn’t get it, they should be cheaper or more expensive, in your opinion?

This statement is funny because you also use bootstrap in your scripts. Does that mean your scripts are just bootstrap with some css modifications?

This is what I’m wondering as well. Was there even a market back then?
