Not to be problematic, but the first looks too… 1980s, and the second looks too cheap… at least in my opinion. But that’s not what counts is it? :D

I like the first one, but the 2nd one is fine too.

I think the perspective of the second text is a bit.. off. Now it looks like the text is bending backwards, the closer it is to the middle.

Like the text style of the first one better, does remind me of Tron, though.

Out of the 2 I like the first one the best, but I would make some improvements on it still :).

hmmm.. I would take into account scale-ability, both are too detailed to look good smaller. It’s just not gonna look crisp. So I would lose the texturing, gradients, reflections, also definitely the lens flair – very 1998. Also your logo looks good on black, but what about white ? Considering most websites are light, not dark. I would suggest creating something that is more simple but versatile. Don’t focus on the smaller details, effects… focus on the idea, concept first so it’s solid, and then spice it up. Less is more.

I prefer the second one because the first one gives off the nightclub vibe. Though, the word CODE has a different bevel direction that the word FASTA –not really a fan. Also, I think the shine on the A needs to be in the corner vs the middle padding. Just some thoughts.

Personally, I prefer the text of second one but I would like to add my opinion on the brain image. I think it looks too real and complicated. Perhaps making it more simple and iconic look would be better.

Another opinion is about the bevel which should be the same or similar direction for the whole text. Currently “Fasta” and “Code” words look like they aren’t going well with each other. Also, reducing the “thickness” of the bevel might do the trick.

Just my 2 cents. :)
