nobody knows. we pretty much have to wait until adobe releases the 3d thing. then wait/test the frameworks.

Papervision has been dead for a long time now, so I seriously doubt it will be ported to molehill.

Your best chances are Away3D / Alternativa / Flare3D

Note that molehill versions are still NOT available! You’ll be limited as with ppv in terms of performance.

Papervision might wanna implement Molehill, I guess they make money now from courses and stuff so I guess if they still wanna make money will do that. If you ask me all major/known frameworks will do that.

I go with Away3D, they seem pretty committed with it… depending what you’re doing you may be able to just use the built in stuff which is what I did for my dissertation at uni…

Ho I remember those days, now i shift position in away. Its really remarkable achievement Kuba the way you are able to concentrate in the university with all this hot G destruction, strange but you are preferring to spend your weekend with 3D engine verses hot university girls? And i ask my self what wrong with the world :P

Ho I forget….. Start with …

http://www.flare3d.com/

But really the most practical flash 3D engine for us today is still Papervision + what jayc say is very true

P.S I think I will go with papervision 3D.

I hope pv3d does implement it as it’s the only 3d engine I ever bothered to learn. :)

I think it’s too early to decide which framework to use. When PV3D was popular Flash 9 was still new. Away 3D is pretty similar, so as long you know the basics of three-dimensional environment you should be fine.

I imagine there will be easier tools to create more complex stuff which goes beyond a few rotating cubes. Just my two cents. :)
