In fact, our overall sales keep increasing with every month that passes. Don’t be fooled by what you see on the new items page, our customers scour our entire library to purchase the perfect audio for their projects. Don’t forget that we have over 14,500+ items in our library now, it would be naive to base the popularity of AudioJungle on just the one page you quoted that contains just 30 items. Look at our popular files section and you will see that if you continue to create and upload high quality audio, it will sell.

It’s good to hear that sales are increasing as months pass. Comparing the activity here with the activity over at activeden makes it seem like audiojungle doesn’t get as much traffic and maybe not as much in sales for that matter, which is reasonable given the immense popularity of Flash as opposed to royalty-free audio. But I’m pretty sure there are activeden developers who get their audio from audiojungle and I think its fair to expect growth on audiojungle if there is growth on activeden.
Whatever the case, I think it would help ourselves as authors individually to advertise our portfolios outside of the Envato network and this would ultimately generate more traffic to Envato, thus increasing sales. I’ve already begun advertising Envato through one of my websites and I’ve gotten at least one referral. I haven’t yet begun advertising my portfolio, but when I do, I’m guessing I’ll gain at least a few more sales. I think this will lead to sales for other authors here as well. I think its one of the beauties of this marketplace.
