For people who have their own companies are very important those invoices, not only for spending money here. As we don’t have any official contracts with Envato, we still need to pay taxes for money we’re getting each month. So i think it’s a must have tool for us – to send an invoice to envato with withdrawal request and getting it back with money, this is very important feature, because each payment should be based on something. I already had some troubles with it, like all payments were received from the company, not from the individual person.

So +100 for invoices!

That’s right, the IRS officials are a bit suspicious as they don’t usually get the idea and mechanics of internet stock markets. The only thing they see is that you suddenly got the money on your account and they really do like to know were your money came from. The invoice is the only thing to keep them happy!

Exactly, no questions if you are receiving money from some person, not a company.

But if you’re get the money you should “send” invoice to Envato ;)

and remember that dollar != Envato credit, you deposit here 20$, so you’ve spend 20$ and that’s for your invoice, This money is converted to Envato credits, other way they would act like a “bank”

I understand, but we can send an invoice with our withdrawal request?

I think it’s a good point about invoices but my understanding is that when you make a deposit to your account, this is essentially your purchase (of credits) and what the invoice is created for. So what you’re saying is you’d also like an invoice detailing how you use your deposited credits on the marketplace?

We are talking about having invoices for money spent with money we’ve earned through the marketplace and not deposit money / credits.

yes Jami – invoices still have to be created regardless to how we pay – money is taken from us – wether that’s deposit, taken from earnings etc etc people obviously still require invoices because your earnings were reduced by $XX – it’s simple and basic accounting….

Otherwise I can’t buy from the marketplaces anymore as invoices are not available and should be.
