So I’m currently working remotely for Envato and have been in Guatemala for almost 2 weeks now. It’s an incredible country with lots of exciting things to do – caving with candles, jumping into rushing rivers, hiking etc.. It got me thinking: – What adventures have you been on? - And do you have any great/ scary stories of your travels to share? I’ll definitely be adding some of my own!
My adventures was to go in the cloud inside for long time then find adobe software there
It can not be said Adventure, but I was impressed at sunset of Mauna Kea in Hawaii.
When I was younger I loved all outdoor pursuits inc. Pot Holing. My fave was abseiling.
Once did a 100m abseil, without carribenas in the Derbyshire Peak district, near Edale. With the Derbyshire Police, on an outward bound course. It didnt go too well !
working in Envato is less then an adventure ?
Years ago, when I was backpacking across western Europe. I was just outside Barcelona, hiking in the foothills of mount Tibidabo…
Surely the one happened few years ago to the mountains at Cima di Marta, a World War II italian militar base. Me and my family decided to visit the huge bunker that has been dug in the rock for hundred of meters here:
Very exciting and frightening. Only with some flashlight do deep in the mountain, with hundreds of steps in the complete darkness. (here you can find some images)
Wow. @Skillline, that made me laugh.
@charly_jp, I’ve never been to Hawaii, but I would love to go. Apparently you can see lava flowing into the ocean there!
@Australia, how did you get out of that one? Any broken bones?
@bouncy- always an adventure speaking to you guys.
@lifer-I’ve never been hiking in Barca, but it is a beautiful area.
@LcWeb – that photo looks incredible. I’ll check the other’s out for sure!
