Dell Laptop with the built in integrated audio card…
...is the correct answer!
Just goes to show it’s not the boots that score the goals! Your stuff sounds amazing vaisnava!
Fireface 800, and a Multiface before that (ages ago) – the RME stuff has always been pretty stable for me
Hi, Cakewalk by Roland UA-25 EX.
Not bad, I like it.
Apogee Duet 2 … very happy with it!
Presonus Firestudio mobile
apogee duet great and portable
I have a crappy tascam us-122 and it rolls like square wheels on mac. I’m thinking about buying a new interface with more inputs so this thread is awesome to get some inspiration about what to buy (and what not)
I don’t like Tascam audio interfaces… This brand is great for portable recorders but not in PC recording yet… For multiple inputs my advice is M-Audio & Digi 002 or 003… M-Box series!!!

Hi guys, can’t benlieve it…nobody uses Metric Halo but me?
I use the Metric Halo Mobile I/O 2882 which is perfect for studio work but also for mobile recording. You can record a whole drumset, what I often do, with just a laptop, the interface and your mics….and you don’t need more energy but pluggin the interface to the laptop…it even works with condenser mics…. So….I can strongly recommend Metric Halo!!! Sound Quality is far beyond all other interfaces I have tried…!
Cheers and happy creating!!! KA
