I created an app that I thought would be very useful to the web community, but it got rejected because the reviewer didn’t think it would sell. Do you agree??

But….
that’s smart, I like it
@SportTipsWorld – Thanks for your input.
Are there any other features I could add to this to make it more useful? Maybe allow you to build a maintenance page on the fly? FTP features? What else?
- Author had a Free File of the Month
- Bought between 50 and 99 items
- Europe
- Exclusive Author
- Has been a member for 3-4 years
- Referred between 1 and 9 users
- Sold between 1 000 and 5 000 dollars
I like it as well.. This would make a fine addition..
Iv had a lot of rejections as well.. and most of the stuff that got rejected were hard to code and took me like ages to perfect.
Anyway, I think this is a very good product, and simple to use..
Only thing i could think of, is different maintenance templates for the user to chose from, and add a countdown timer to when the website will be back online.

Thank you for taking a look and the kind words. I like your suggestions as well. I think I’m going to add those to the program and try to resubmit it.
I could see a use for homegrown personal sites, but a “maintenance-mode” is pretty standard in professional site software.
I see this as extremely dependent upon server settings (like the default document) and the server-side technology in use on the server.
