Iv moved all my sites to blue host last week having had a rough time with the truly awful jaguarpc
I have no idea about limitations tho – perhaps that used to be the case but there is certainly no limitations that iv noticed
I went for tho pro package which may be why but all i can say is so far im very very impressed
So far i got about 37 sites on there 2 of which are hefty multi-site installs, one of them is domain mapped so im also unsure what the problem is supposed to be with working with domains either
Support has also been great too! As you can imagine some of the databases i was moving where huge, and they guided me through SSH etc so i can easily restore them
Maybe cos my previous hosts where so poor my expectations where lower than most, but so far, id recommend blue host all day long
I use hosting from an dutch hosting company called hostnet. The support is really great!
tabvn saidLimited tables and file count? Eww! That’s quite a naive implementation as well – it would tempt me to device a shell to store all my data in one massive table, and the same for all my files. Just string them together and use the binary as addressed memory
i agreed with you, and also they limited Mysql database tables, limit files count. i used and i keep away , i prefer mediatemple, or Gator .
yes that was crazy , they suspended my account and ask me decrease tables in database, then they ask me decrease files on hosting. and finally i moved to MT, everything fine.
I have a 1&1 VPS
thank you all..

For WordPress specific hosting, WPEngine is hands down the best that I’ve run across.
I rock MediaTemple for all other basic hosting.
