Hello everyone, I’m pretty sure that this has been discussed before, but I would like to know what do think.. Is it better to put mp3 or wave in the zip file? I personally put waves, but maybe buyers prefer mp3 since they’re smaller.. What’s your point of view? Thank you very much! Paolo

I sometimes put both, to save buyers from the hassle of converting the files themselves. And of course, the MP3 version will save some space for data transfer and whatnot. It’s all up to you really, but I heard sometimes After Effects doesn’t really work with with compressed files and might skip sometimes. Thus, I usually provide a WAV version
I didn’t know we had a choice
Anyway I put both.
Yup, both. At first I didn’t include wav because of my very slow upload speed, but then I decided it’s worth uploading it.
Both of them

Wav only.
I only put a WAV because that’s the highest quality you can upload, and that’s how I want my work represented. I’d even include a higher quality WAV if I could (24 bit/48 k for video usage). Even a good quality Mp3 is degraded somewhat. Whomever is actually using your song should ideally be using WAVs instead of Mp3s in their production anyway, especially since it’s likely just going to end up getting compressed in the end (podcasts, youtube videos, etc.).
Thank you for the kind replies!
Do you think buyers are put off by only including the MP3 ? If so, I have wasted 10 months, because of my own stupidity
Thinking about it now I have no idea why I have not included the wave file as well as the MP3 . I have 5 tracks in the que for approval, do you think I should take them down and put the wave file with them and re-upload them to the que?
