Hi there,

I put this in functions.php:


add_image_size("portfolio_feature_thumb", 200, 100, true);

And the images do not resize to these exact dimensions:

Hi. After you add a size you need to regen the thumbnails so use this http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

The Regenerate Thumbnails plugin is the best solution, like Duotive pointed out. It’s also worth noting that WordPress won’t scale up by default (as TimThumb would) – so the max size you can get out of the box is the original photo size.
