Hi everyone!!

Im wondering if its possible to update your existing music files? I know you can edit description and what not, but will they allow me to actually reupload tweaked version of the same track? Im talking cosmetic changes to the sound, rather then arrangement or anything major.

Will it again take 2weeks to upload? Will it remove any sales count if they do allow it?

Thank you!!!!! :)

Hi, you can do it by the Edit tab into your item’s page and it will take a few minutes to get approved again ;) And sales will remain, of course!

I am using this feature to improve my previously uploaded track. And it helps to make more sales.

I do this too… a week or so after my track is approved I hear something that I just can’t live with! Fortunately, it’s a very quick approval for the update.

Same here.. 14 days is a long time.. Give any of your fresh new tracks 2 weeks before you listen to it again, and it will almost definitely be ready for tweaks.

I got curious after Midnight in Tokyo received a facelift.

i’m new to the jungle, was thinking about this very topic and so was pleased to find this thread.

it looked like updating item info would mean going through the review process again; this clears that up.

very helpful, thank you.

Yes, I did that with the first track I uploaded. I noticed some bad notes that I fixed. Re-uploaded and didn’t take long for approval and activation of the new files. Great feature to be able to go back and improve. Thanks AJ :)
