(Locked) Too similar sliders on CodeCanyon

I’ve discovered today new slider on codecanyon homepage called FlexSlider – a Touch Multi Layers jQuery Slider”. As for me it looks exactly like mine “RoyalSlider”.

• Drag navigation, RoyalSlider – yes.
• Multi layers, RoyalSlider – yes (in RS they called captions, but can contain any content and treated like layers).
• Custom layer animations, RoyalSlider – yes.
• Fade and move animations for layers, RoyalSlider – yes.
• Custom HTML content, RoyalSlider – yes.
• Resizable, RoyalSlider – yes.

The only one difference I see is another skin and different presentation.
What do you think about this, am I overreacting on this?

And as far as your slider is created it is exactly like this one: http://bxslider.com/ ...you are overreacting. You’re slider has a more fine transitions than the other one so relax and if this is really a problem for you the best way to handle it is to contact support and not on the forums.

Semenov no worries, the similar ones are not hitting the exact ingredient that makes sales for you. It is usual in the stock marketplaces that any popular file will have replicas with slight variation, not just on CC but even outside the marketplaces!

Still as duotive mentioned, the best way is leaving these things to support staffs hand! Very impressed with your file, keep up the good work!

I think you slider is far better. Don’t worry about competitor

One more thing… look at it’s source code. If it has resemplance to your own than kill it

don’t call names here on forums, if you have concerns of any type contact support or authors directly

content sliders with captions are nothing new and the above comparision is very unfear when you consider all the points you listed were already seen countless times in other commercial or free plugins.
