Also it seems you can’t change your moneybookers currency once you’ve created an account. And you can’t have multiple moneybookers account either – otherwise they’ll terminate all of them… I wonder if closing the account and then reopening a new one with the same details will work hmmm.

my no.1 tip for moneybookers is don`t use it. They take a huge cut especially if you go from usd to gbp. Also they refuse to guarantee anything over 1k.

Anyone checked out Ikobo their fee’s seem pretty low and I like the prepaid visa card idea

I use PayPal. But, I just created a moneybookers account. Because, only MB sends money to SWIFT for Turkey not PayPal. I want to increase bank account limit:)

you get a message saying basically if we go under you lose your money, and in the present climate..

I’ve done the wire transfer once – I saved about 5% by cutting out the middleman moneybookers …. but I did have my MM account set to rands not dollars so that was part of the problem.
