..can I include social media logos in the download zip of my flyers? I mean usually I only put them in the preview, but I was thinking “if people can do social media icons and sell them, why can’t I include the simple logo in my flyer”?
I’ve sent a question to the support ticket and they answered me to check this http://wiki.envato.com/selling/tips-selling/what-images-videos-illustrations-or-music-can-i-use-in-my-items/ but it didn’t help me sincerely..
What do you think?
No you cannot.
You can only do so under the circumstances:
1) you have an extended licence valid for sale/resale of the icons 2) the icons are completely free to use including sale and resale.
I have the same problem that when I use social media icons on my brochures. I will either have to create them myself for every brochure or get an extended licence for an existing set. There is no way around that. You cannot resell somebody else’s work.
Cheers
Chris
There are several social media dingbat fonts out there available with free use. As long as the logo or trademark is ok to redistribute(twitter, facebook, etc), isn’t that ok?

Basic answer, yes should be fine unless GR had a rule against it but I’ve seen web and print with icons.
Websites like Twitter, Facebook and other social sites typically have trademark usage guideline pages. I think these should answer all your questions. Both make mention of print and how you should use and not use things.

I know another author that include them in his templates… mm if you read the guidelines of twitter and facebook it seems you infringe their rules..
By the way, the above is only my opinion and not intended as legal advice
I read both guideline pages too. Usage is clear and easy. But technically it’s a product I guess even though usage would be appropriate and minor? Maybe you should just ask them. FB has a form and twitter an email I think.
