I use AKG K702 . It’s the same headphone as K701 , except it’s black.

Couple of notes about the headphone.

- These don’t start to REALLY get good until you’ve been using them for more than 60 hours, known as the burning-in period. Some people will say this is a myth, but it really isn’t.

- You need to have a professional level soundcard, or a good headphone amplifier (or both) to get the best out of these headphones. You will be disappointed if you – for example – plug them into an iPod.

5.1 headphones are overrated and a waste of money in my opinion. You can’t simulate 5.1 properly on a headphone because of the way sound travels to the ear. It’s just not the same. Save your money and get a decent 5.1 audio set. I’d recommend Orb Audio.
