Hey folks
just setting up a demo for what will hopefully be my first TF theme, just wondering how to go about adding one of them option pans you see on some demos here so users can play with some of the key settings available?
Thanks guys! been scratchin my head and cant even figure out the correct term to google!
I recommend you SMOF Options Framework by Sy4mil. Clean, unbranded and simply awesome!
Hey DeliciousThemes thanks for the link but sadly not quite what I was aiming for
tho, now you mention it, i am already using smof on this theme so do you know of anyway i could demo a few options on the front page?
@fillerspace
looks ok , kinda what uv seen already, but I was aiming to be able to replicate the colour pick from my admin options so users can tweak and see what does what
@SimpleSites4U check out the documentation: http://aquagraphite.com/2011/11/smof-documentation/ . It explains how to integrate some options into the pages.
@DeliciousThemes
thank you! I really must read all available help BEFORE posting a question in the future
Ok iv read loads and im near the point of making a demo but still have no idea how to create a colour picker for potential users to use to see what can be changed
any help would be appreciated folks
Try searching in the forum for “demo options panel”
Theres an old post with this reply “You could also integrate with a pre-made options panel like OptionTree http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/option-tree/"
Someone else says… “This post should get you going (ThemeBlvd Hooks it up): http://themeforest.net/forums/thread/stylesheet-switcher-for-wordpress/35461?page=1 Also, there is a stylesheet switcher available on code canyon if you need more documentation. At $4, can’t really go wrong if you need additional help. http://codecanyon.net/item/css-style-switcher/150156"Hope it helps. I know the moment you are looking you never find it, then when you are not looking for it, you find it..
