Hi everybody!
I know a lot of us use SoundCloud quite a bit for promotional purposes, so I was wondering what your thoughts were on their new interface.
Personally, I very much like the look and feel of it, but groups kinda got lost in the shuffle. That would be the only negative for me.
What do you think?
Me no likey
It’s slower for me …
And hiding big links behind short custom titles isn’t working ….my big ref link to AudioJungle is now visible.
Luckily they only switched me to the new one for one day, then switched back to the old one.
But I guess the involuntary switching is imminent in the near future.
My first impression was that I felt kind of lost on the home screen. Things didn’t seem to be as readily available as the previous site version. But who know. maybe it will grow on me. Soundcloud, in general, still rocks.
JonBuice saidYes, I agree. I had the same impression when I first used the iPhone app which has a very similar design/organization. Just like anything else, you gotta get used to it.

previous was better
Looks are much better, functionality and ease of use is much worse :/
For me it’s a major improvement in terms of design and ease of use. Looking forward to stuff like Spotlight being integrated into the new version. Wish they’d stream tracks at more than 128kbps, though.
I will never understand why going to a list of one’s own tracks is not a simple one-click-away action after one signs in and ends up on the “stream” homepage.
Same thing with the new design.
