What are the thoughts of putting a text file with the composers profile page, and links within the ZIP ?

Maybe all composers we can have a standard format to use, with details of the package and composers link on audio jungle?

that’s not a bad idea actually. But that kind of text file kind of assumes you will always be where the text file points and you can never write anything regarding your “newest” work, as you’d have to update all your tracks regularly which would be hell on the administration as well as yourself.

You could just point it to your personal website if you have one – that should always be the same….

I have been doing this for a while now. I thought it would be a nice idea to say thank you for the purchase, and to perhaps offer any further services that might be relevant to that type of file (including any changes they might need made to the file they purchased, like conversions to a specific format, changes in length, fade ins/outs etc.).

I also put a note in the text file, asking them if they would be so kind as to let me know where they have used my file in their work, as this is always interesting to me and always appreciated.

There’s no problem as far as I can see with putting text files within your zip file, though we’d prefer that authors stick to just one text file and the audio file itself — don’t want these things getting too cluttered.

Yes, as Adrien mentioned, our thorough review team will check each file. It’s okay to leave a link to your personal portfolio or blog, but we don’t sell promotion for other stock sites you may be a part of around here, of course. :)
