What if a guy from the US buys it for you? Would it be legal?

I asked that once before aswell. No.. unfortunately the licence isn’t valid.
I notice however that on the Creative Cloud site that Mark linked, that when you change to your local region, the price remains the same and in dollars. Does this mark then end of price politics for Adobe? Or haven’t they updated with the European prices yet?
and as far as I know, when you buy CS5 .5 you’ll get CS4 included as a backwards compatibility pack for people with x86 machines (it’s on the last disc by the way). So this sounds like a good deal.

InlifeThrill saidAn update that US citizen would get for 300$ rised to 1000$ as soon as I switched to my country. This is ridiculous.
Why is this is if you get a “download” button at the end.. There is no extra logistics, etc.
C’mon Filips, I’m sure you understand that it costs more for them to ship a digital download outside of the US.

That’s right. The download leaves the US and travels under the Atlantic via fibre optic cable. Once it arrives in Europe of course, it’s printed out onto ticker-tape, bundled into wicker baskets and carried on the backs of pack-horses to special bunkers where it’s reconstructed by picturesque peasants using adapted pocket calculators. It’s a wonder the price differential isn’t much bigger.
