Hey everyone, I keep hearing how Synth1 is an awesome awesome free vsti. It’s downloaded all the time and so I jumped on board. I have been messing around with it and even downloaded a preset expansion pack to see what all it can do, and for some reason I don’t think it sounds all that amazing. More then likely it’s a “user” problem. So I am curious what others think about synth1, and if you’ve used it in an item I’d love to hear it.

Lots of my items are made with this vst, especially these under the ‘source files’ category (just because it’s a free plugin ;) ). IMO Synth1 is perfect to make a supersaw-style sounds, and some deep trance basses. Very low CPU usage is an additional advantage for weak PCs :)
