Swift Checkout Question

Hi guys, i am new to swift and was wondering why you need a Intermediary Bank?

Why does it need to go through a different bank just to get to your bank.

When i withdraw from 2checkout using swift it does not ask for this and i get my money fine.

Intermediary bank is optional…maybe you only need it if your bank is small and they have a partnership with a larger bank to handle incoming wires.

Because if say one bank is in the USA and you’re trying to get money to an account in the UK the bank might be smaller and it would have to go threw a larger bank that has international capabilities to go overseas .

Since you are getting your funds from 2checkout without Intermediary Bank setup and you are receiving your money. That basically means your bank does not use Intermediary Bank to process the wire transfer. In other words, if your bank had a connection with an Intermediary Bank, your funds from 2checkout would never reach you.
