Graphicriver recent activity …. http://graphicriver.net/forums/thread/new-logos-category-coming-soon-contest/48490
I believe lots of people really don’t want the same Logo with little changes. Most of them want an Unique Logo. So i have a wonderful solution for selling Logos on graphicriver !
non-exclusive owners
Who has a small budget and who really wants the same Logo with little changes they should pay $10 to $40 each Logo as a non-exclusive ownership. This way Logo can sell multiple times.exclusive owners
And who wants an Unique Logo and who really don’t want the same Logo they should pay $100 to $400 each Logo as an exclusive ownership. This way Logo can’t sell twice. That Logo will automatically removed from Graphicriver Showcase or will mark as a sold.So guys tell me what do you think ?
I think logos should sold only one time in general. A logo should be unique and I can’t imagine one person who would want to have a logo which isn’t exclusive.
I agree with BroOf, but there is a market for generic logos that can be adjusted slightly. Look at “link removed” been around forever.
@rarepearldesign
It’s not allowed to post links to competitors.
Didn’t realize it was a competitor, my bad.
Can’t edit the post now so someone else will have to remove it.

I think it isn’t a competitor yet but when they release the new logo category
+1 with this idea!

A stock marketplace is just not the place for logo’s and brands. Much like we don’t sell paintings.

So what happens when I add a logo, someone buys it as ‘non-exclusive’ as soon as its out, then someone else sees it and wants to buy it exclusively? Well now they cant!
So those wishing to have an exclusive logo have to rule out any that have had normal sales (which presumably would be the better designs, hence the sales).
Can’t see this working.
It’s one or the other. Or neither. By the sounds of it, I think we’re too far past neither though now.
@ Philmo here is the solution then….
make a two category
Philmo give us a very good point…. So in this situation nothing we can do ! But i have an another good solution for you and us. And the solution is….. Developers must make a two category in the upload section page. Categories are exclusive ownership and non-exclusive ownership. Now let us (designers) decide what way we should sell our Logos. My suggestions is pick only exclusive ownership category.
Something like this image…
This way we can sell our Logos very easily.
So what do you think guys ? Sounds good; right ?
