I hear that Snow Leopard and Cintiq’s really do not get along well (looks like an 800×600 screen that is stretched reaaally bad).. just an fyi to anyone that has one!Was just at the Wacom site. doesn’t look like they have any updated drivers yet for it.
They will soon, “by early October”, but whether the new drivers will solve the compatibility issues is questionable. Check out this official Wacom announcement for driver compatibility both with Windows 7 and Snow Leopard.
Note the interesting choice of words: “The latest Wacom pen tablet drivers [...] have been tested with Windows 7 and work well“
“The current Wacom pen tablet drivers [...] have been tested with Mac OS X v10.6 (Snow Leopard) and work.” (emphasis mine)
And then they go on and explain what doesn’t work quite as well on Mac as it does on Windows.
Just bought my Macbook Pro 15” 2.66GHZ Waiting for Snow Leopard now, can’t wait
Is the speed increase really noticeable
