Slow April

Hi guys! I’m really having low sales since April started! Someone said it’s because of the Spring Break, then we had Easter’s holidays and so on… What about you? Are you having the same trend ?

I’m not sure yet. It has possibly been a bit slow, but I am not a major seller yet. I have had a few sales so far, 2 in one day, which is a very good thing, but only 4 sales so far. But I haven’t released many songs so far this month. So 4 sales since the first isn’t so bad considering the lack of releases. But I still have six sales to go to reach my monthly goal of 10 sales per month. But the month isn’t half over and I’m almost half way there. So far so good.

I think if you just continue to concentrate on releaseing the best you can release, you will have some months that are strong and some that are slow. But these are just ebs and flows. Trust me, if you just keep doing what you love, and continue to stay active on the site, in time you will do better and better, and your songs are great, so keep doing what you are doing and sales will likely improve!

Thanks for the advice! I know that sales just have ups and downs, and that’s particularly true for authors that don’t have high sales yet. I was just wondering if it’s something that other authors are experiencing too. Then, everyone back to work!

The month has been a bit slower for me too, but we gotta remember that there is no rule regarding sales frequency, things might pick up in the last week of the month or something like that

For me April is starting great! Just above my avarge sales up untill now, especially my heavy / industrial work is selling really good lately.

I had a very slow beginning of March but sales picked up later that month and eventually broke my monthly sales record, so NikiN is absolutely right!

Hey, out of curiosity, how much has your track http://audiojungle.net/item/demanufracturing/407486 got views from that battlefield 3 montage video released on 30th of March? Found it searching youtube with our username. For example our Vanishing light got over 700 page views in 11 days when normally it gets 1 – 10 in whole month

About a sale per day which is about average. Last month was incredible for me.

i had a poor feb and march but april has been much better for me.it always helps submitting a couple of new works, as this generates a whole lot more due to having a constant presense.i have noticed that big bouts of absence mean a lot less hits.

being on that front page every month with a new track def helps more than just hoping the search engine directs everyone to just you and you alone lol.aint gonna happen!

Same here, got some huge exposure after the release of that video!

April started off great. Basically sales everyday. This week’s been slow though. Or perhaps not “slow” since that indicates that it moves at all…
