Hi,
I am developing a theme for themeforest and I have come to an question. How to count the numbers of shortcodes in a theme. What I saw is the theme authors are counting the styles and color variations as well.

Just say: “One Million Shortcodes!”. And then when some asks about it just apologize and say you miscounted.
Here’s a thought: Don’t add shortcodes to your theme and you won’t have to worry about counting them.
Maybe static variables will help you.
+1 to not adding shortcodes in themes. Save yourself some time (and not to mention headaches) and place this link in your documentation: http://www.wpexplorer.com/wordpress-shortcodes-page-builders
I am seeking some serious replies..

I just want to know how you theme developer counts the shortcodes.
Like: I have button shortcode with 4 different sizes and 47 different colors and with 250 icons. What will be the count?
Thanks

Are you trying to sale by the numbers? That is a customizable button. Nothing more.

That’s simple math here: 4 * 47 * 250 = 47,000 variations.
But I do like “One million shortcodes!” more…
