I’ve got tons of sound effects I’ve created over the past few years. Would love to sell them in packs (Pack of 20 interface sounds, for example) rather than individually. Good value for the customer, too. Would this be possible?
Hi dc3000, yes you definitely can sell your sounds in “Packs” its a great idea!! It probably gets more attentions from buyers. What you should do is in the preview sound file, put all the sound effects in one file and maybe have Flashden water marks played between each of the sounds? I will talk to Collis about this and see if there are any other better ways. I think u & I are the only one that makes sound efx
I agree, packs is a good idea. I think if the preview mp3 had all the sounds in the pack, it’d be safe to say you could upload it and it’d be fine!
this thread would be better discussed in ways to improve audio on flashden
We’ve got a very poignant idea which we think may start a Flash Audio Renaissance… I’ll reveal it on Monday
i have just had my first web designers audio kit approved it includes about 105 sound files, and its in my portfolio now for 20 credits how cool is that:)
ey…I havnt uploaded much yet…havnt had the time to do stuff…but i also uploaded a set of transitions….but I guess its not such a good idea of having packs. I think most of the time people look for a specific sound not a whole bunch…cause the next project might have a differrent sphere….so why having sound flying around on the harddisc….
i am not sure about packs¿¿¿
I just thought…what might be a better idea to come up with theme-packs… means: btn-sounds, transitions, bgSound/loop,sndFX…main sounds with 1 or 2 alternatives
so if someone needs stuff for his site he doesnt have to search for sounds which fit together….so you get a good and uniform soundfeel…
i guess thats a better idea then packs…..¿¿¿¡¡¡
