CodeCanyon,

Your website rules but you need a search function in the comments section. There is useful information to solve problems but the only way you can know is by going through the whole comments.

Is this something you coudl fix.

I agree with Kris and I’m surprised this hasn’t been mentioned before.

Some themes/plugins have over 100 pages of comments and it’s insane to have to scroll through all the pages, to search for a solution. Instead: buyers post a new comment, requiring an answer which has probably already been given in the past. Result: loss of time and frustration for both buyer and seller…

Luckily, some developers have their own forums for feedback, but it would save the developers and customers a lot of time and effort if there was a better search function integrated in the comments section.

I agree, my new customers tends to ask me same questions over and over again, even tho they were replied to previous customers in the past. However with the new FAQ section, it’s much easier to find answers, sadly the customers ignores the FAQ question because I guess it wasn’t promoted from the very beginning.

Not quite the same thing but better than nothing:

Of course it completely relies on authors individually adding it.

Hi CodingJack, thanks for the interesting tip, but where should I add that code generated from Google Custom Search generator?

Oh, I see :( Now I’m disappointed, I thought I could use this somehow directly inside my item’s description somehow.
