Scheduled Outage 13th March

Our hosting company has scheduled a big outage on us to resolve a number of longstanding issues (not just for us, for all their customers on our rack of servers).

From the email they sent me

To ensure continued performance, stability and reliability, there is maintenance scheduled for Friday Feb 26th 10pm – 5am PST

EDIT : Updated outage time

We have rescheduled the maintenance of your servers for Saturday, March 13th. This was previously scheduled for Friday, February 26th

They actually only expect the downtime to be 3-5 hours, but have booked a wider window for any contingencies.

In Australian Eastern Standard time, this works out to be Sunday the 14th from 5PM until 12 Midnight.

A little closer to the date we’ll put a site-wide notice up (not just in the forums) so that all the buyers who don’t frequent the forums can see and hopefully plan their spending around the outage and no-one ends up too much out of pocket

FML no CC for 5 hours! That’s ok I’ll probably be asleep somewhere in that time frame anyways.

Possible to link to a 3rd party web based chat portal from the “we are down” page?

Maybe we’ll put together a dev team curated youtube channel or something

Do you guys include the new corporation feature which allows authors to work together?

Does it mean that this could be an end to envato ?
