Sales after new search system

...The site has been extremely slow over the past couple of weeks. Even slower than normal. Perhaps this has been adversely effecting sales site-wide… but especially for Video Hive – as video previews require bandwidth. It’s summer in the northern hemisphere and people are doing nice things like sunbathing instead of sitting in front of a computer.

You’re right. I told it before. It’s summer in Europe & sales down for that reason.

I’ve noticed my sales go down even though I’ve uploaded new items… It’s probably due to the fact that more items come up in searches (previously untagged work wouldn’t show up in those searches).

I was wondering myself what’s up with the sales lately…I thought I was only imagining that sales have slowed down for almost everyone.

Funny, I thought most of the clients are U.S based though and not in Europe?

Not sure location is that important…I think it’s the summer to blame for mostly…either that or many of the newly submitted items look too much like what has already been submitted many times before?
