Sales after new search system

I wanted to ask the authors if they have seen an improvement in sales since the new search system was implemented (tags search) . Have you guys noticed something positive or negative?

And how about the buyers? I have not heard anything from them. Have you guys found more items after the implementation of the new system?

I noticed a drop to 0 sales and when i filled in some tags the sales where starting again

I’ve sold 4 times my old items, which were submitted just after launching themeforest, I think it’s result of new search system, because they stopped selling month after submiting

same here…. I sold old items… like my cassettes….. but after that sales begun to slow down…..

Sales didn’t improve at all. I’d say they lowered if anything.

our TF sales dropped dramatically and I suspect it was because the tags were not entered, now it seams they’re starting to pick up again. On FD I haven’t seen much change but a steady drop (on older files) as I can see is the case with all authors so I’m guessing it’s the market. Sales of our newest items (our first template with cms and ultimate 3d carousel) are great though and they had tags as opposed to the other items so I think they matter

well some of my sales went up because i took the effort to enter those tags and I think everyone should also. It really does help a lot. Because lets say your template or theme is not on first page and I really don’t feel like looking through all those pages to find a template. I just search and they show those that actually has tags and appropriate names thus giving the advantage and sales increase to those with tags.

lowered – kinda weird though as some templates pretty much sold 2 everyday – now I get nothing for days then I get 4 in one day – not sure if that is anything to do with the tags etc – not sure it is making any difference at all to be honest – one of my templates uses business as a tag and yet it doesn’t turn up on a search – it even has business in the title

In summer, there’s no much sale I think.
