This might be far fetched and i know there’s already been quite alot of talk about better tracking of offsite promotional links, but here’s something I think would be very valuable in the long run.

Ablility to track clicks up to a point of purchase.

with heavy duty trickery you can already set up your own tracking system but its quite a lot of work and it still wont provide you with the info that you actually want to see. Probably alot of the traffic comes from “accidental” clics where the person clicking the link want to see more of the design but is not even remotely considering buying it. And theres nothing wrong with that. But I would like to see what are the sites that actually bring in customers and what are the “time vampires” where you just create content for them. :)

So yeah, implemention of the “ROI” tracking would be great, investment beig the time consumed in extra promotional work. :)
