We’ve set up a system on item pages so that Authors can reply directly to customer’s concerns by replying to their comments.
Replying to a user comment creates a conversation solely between a user and the author. Nobody else can butt in, and the conversation is single-threaded (we’re not trying to create a forum here). To clarify, only authors can initiate a conversation by replying to a comment.
We hope you all find this to be a useful tool and would welcome feedback on the subject.
