Hey guys.
I was wandering how many of you are using rendering farms for 3D applications. Are they “money wise”?
And lets say that I have 3D scene with 2000 frames, each frame is rendering 1 min.,..that is 2000 minutes or about 34 hours of rendering,...how much time would I save with some decent RFarm?
Thanks.
I don’t know about prices of render farms hours, but I would prefer to just buy a computer dedicated to rendering. New programs render with GPU and have amazing results…
Plus, there are few creative ways to speed up rendering by lowering the quality and retouching in after effects – same result, a lot less render-time.
Hope this helps

I was using renderfarm service a couple of times when I had to render VERY heavy 3d scenes. No need to buy one, there are lots of companies that offer GHzh for affordable prices.
If it is C4D I can render it for you. How much is the price?
I’m planing to buy a AMD 12 core rendering machine, totally stripped of everything cause I just need raw processing power. That and my i7 would be pretty much enough for my needs. Besides 34 hours isn’t much at all… I had projects that rendered 15 days 24/7

This my baby
what do you think about it?
Well I have some decent PC too. And @ place where I work there are several i7 machines that I can use to rendering purposes.
But I want to try some online service and see (compare money vs time) the results.
Thanks.
Ok. Please tell us the results after your test.

I tried rebus farm, but I dunno, it’s kinda too expensive for me.
