great post Adrian, I guess you forgot that you need a program to record a thound… Gian Maria said it to me, because I have contacted him recently
he said, to make it work for Mac you have to install Soundflower
and for PC I found out that you need Propellerhead’s Rewire and maybe also a Virtual Audio Cable from Ntonyx

I recorded straight to Thound, without using any program on the Mac. I did it on a new computer with no sound software installed at all.
It worked, but I think the sound quality might be better if you do the recording on the computer and then upload.
When playing along with someone else’s music on the site, I imagine you have to record directly to Thound.
