I would agree, same I’m saying before, we do sell templates for 5$, clients looks like expecting free changes, free custimizations, php scripts included & amazing things happen…. orly? o_O
And when we say… it doesn’t work because of your customization, or something else… they give a 1 star rating. WTF?

Yeah, I have to agree that the rating system can easily be misused and result in an inaccurate rating of an item. Brainstorm some ideas to improve the system and maybe we can get it changed.
Then, the ratings given by the buyers on a specific item should have a weightage corresponding to his/her own ratings. For instance, a 5 star rating from a 5 star buyer would have greater effect on the item’s rating than a 5 star rating from a 1 star buyer.
I know it sounds very complicated and very unlikely to be implemented, but I really think something should be done to the current ratings system. The authors’ most-needed-improvements (search and ratings system) just seem to get unnecessarily low priority over other ‘improvements’ such as new tagging and licence eventhough they have greater impact on buyers and authors when they are revamped as suggested.
