Hi Audiojungle, is it allowed to promote music at Youlicense within AJ exclusive program. For instance one big and respected stock music site allows to promote music at Youlicense within exclusive program, with the condition that music uploaded to youlicense is available only after direct offer of the customer. Author should offer to license his music (redirect the customer) at this stock music site. Could this scheme work at AJ? Thanks

Seems fair to me. Exclusive deal only mentions “selling” items elsewhere, not advertising them.

SchwartzSound, Youlicense is licensing store and actually it gives you opportunity to sell your music, but under the scheme I described it could be used for promotion only and it is great way for AJ income increase. I just didn’t know AJ position about this site, it’s dually.

In the article “Ways to Promote your Audiojungle Music,” they suggest posting watermarked audio on Soundcloud and Youtube for the purpose of promotion, so I don’t see why not. Just be sure to post the watermarked preview version and not the original. But I’m no expert on the matter.

I’m curious about this too. So you can upload music on youlicense, but then have a choice as to how its sold? It appears to be like elance, in that you bit on opportunities for you music. But do people search artists on this site as much as artists search for projects?
Alex, have you joined yet? Could fill us in about how you safely promote yourself via youlicense?

Yes I uploaded and activated one of my first (watermarked) audio through soundcloud (YL has this option) In licenses I choose ‘standart’ this mean that my music can’t be purchased immediately at youlicense and a buyer should contact me directly and offer to license the track. So if somebody would like to license my music – I redirect him at AJ. One disadvantage I discovered (don’t know the reason). When I uploaded one of my tracks through SCloud it was not appeared at the first YL page, but it still searchable by the tags, mood, and style
