The comparison to Elfman’s Edward Scissorhands made me check this out. Those first chord variations and the instrumentation brought to mind that score straight away, so magical yet spooky; Elfman is the man, and so is Phil for this great piece

This guy deserves a mention, he’s got a cool, jazzy and quirky style – check out the tracks Drunken Jazz and Cardboard Paris which is an unusual Amelie-like track (one of my favourite films):
