.progressbar-value {text-indent: 8px !important; font-size: 10px !important; height: 17px !important;}
[role="progressbar"] {height: 17px !important;}
Which browser do you use? This is the custom CSS and I use it as UserCSS in Opera, but it can fit to any browser, just use any plugin for CSS customizing.
that’s what I had in mind

If you use Chrome you can double click the bar and Select “inspect element”. In the css propriety you’ll see that the percentage has a text-indent of something like -999px. Just put it to 0. this will be temporarerly. To have It permanent you have to use a plug in for CSS customization as DragonSigh said.
I use Rockmelt browser and “inspect elemet” works.It show me how much % is in the progress bar.
