Since I’m new here I’ll first introduce myself.
My name is Emil Korngold, I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands, 33 years old, married, we have a son aged 4 (going on 5 the 23rd of sept).
I work as Flash developer and make music in my spare time using my voice and both analogue and electronic instruments.
About my entry
The piano motive has a groove to it that reminded me of waves and water,
so I created my track around that theme.
Apart from 4 percussion samples and the competition motive,
I created 11 sounds specially for this track:
- 2 main vocal parts (own voice), layering two tracks, heavy echo
- backing vocals (me again )
- tongue click with heavy echo (own voice)
- 2 water sounds (water poured from one glas into the next, pitched down)
- 3 bass sounds (Roland MC-303 and Korg Kaoss pad 3)
- 2 synth sounds (Roland MC-303 and Korg Kaoss pad 3)
The samples were mastered and pre-mixed using Audacity software on PC.
The track was put together and mixed in BeatMaker on iPhone.
