Maybe we should fill up AJ with tracks out of construction kits and be “Top of the Month”, “Top File” and whatever top here on AJ, ruining all the reputation.
So, how many months Envato admins need to remove or ban a user after they have all the info?
Why is so much secrecy about files, discussions and issues?
Why… I’m disappointed. I remember why I stopped uploading stuff here.
I think we ought to do a demonstration topic, to put links on the profile of the author and a link to the original (not direct) ... To buyers have seen and know who is who ….
We would be fast banned bu AJ admins, unlike…
Well… This is indeed terrible and I know I would feel royaly f&@ked off if I had found my work being sold and basically stolen by somebody else!
I have noticed that the profile in question is no longer there so it would seem that the only way to get rid of offenders is to discuss it here…...... Good job guys!!
He’s profile is deleted!
Yes, I’m glad they took action. If a case is as clear and obvious as this – this is the action to take. I mean, people like this are ruining envatos reputation – imagine if the company he stole from finds out that their tracks are sold by a “Top new author” on a world wide leading marketplace.
I understand the frustration. We live in a digital age and most content is easily accessible with the click of a mouse. I have tracks with records labels on torrent sites and random websites but there isn’t much I can do. I know of top web designers whose websites were str8 pimped and uploaded onto another server. I would have suggested authors submit recorded stems to a reviewer when submitting audio but could you imagine upload waiting times under those circumstances?
——misses the days of vinyl and cassettes.
Quite something, huh!?? I see the author is still listed in the new authors charts. I’m sure it just needs to propagate through the system.
So not all bad in this world)))
