Hello All!
Philmo is dead! Long live PixelBuffet!
I’ve had a couple of people email me to ask why I removed my items from GR as my profile page had disappeared. Well it hasn’t! I’ve just rebranded to something which isn’t so attached to my name; PixelBuffet!
What do you guys think of the name? I’m not all that set on the branding yet, possibly going to change that at some point – but I’m quite pleased with the name. Thanks to Dzinc, SilencePlease, PixelCloth and PatrikL for their feedback and help. It gets lonely as a freelancer and my dog isn’t very good at giving design critiques, so it’s awesome to have this community to chat to.
I’ve got grand ideas for PixelBuffet so hopefully I’ll be a little more active around here from now on (i.e. sod client work!).
Sorry for the self-serving post, I just didn’t want people thinking I’d left the wonderful Envato family!
as you know i like the new concept and all the intentions and the purposes behind it. wish you all the best with your new identity!
cheers!
m.
I like it overall. I have always wondered about a buyer’s thoughts on purchasing from a personal profile (actual name, photo etc) versus a brand name. What influences would either of them have?
I must say I probably liked your previous thumbnails better though.

@Kronen I’ll be sure to post the effect on my earnings (for better or worse!) as a result of the change.
Thanks Phi…PixelBuffet. I would be extremely interested in those findings.
Really like the new name. Its hard sometimes to know when to use your name or business name.
The name’s awesome! However, I don’t like the new homepage image much but the thumbnail’s nice.

It’s great!
But let me ask you some doubts?
1) Do you created this profile recently? 2) If it’s yes, how did you get all the these badges and all? 3) All your files under ‘Philmo’ moved to this new profile?
Btw you have got a kewl profile here
Good Luck with the sales! Cee ya around!

Exactly
But you can only do it once. Also the URL of your profile changes (obviously), so any links you’ve put in from twitter, dribbble, facebook, photoshop exchange etc will no longer work.
