Ah. It seems, PayPal has created a lot of work for Envato Support Team. As an author I would like to notify support about suspicious transactions. My item was purchased 3 times in short period (shorter then 1 minute). I don’t know if it is because of PayPal problems. Just let you know.

I’ve checked the purchases and it was due to the script that our devs ran. All the purchases went through one after the other and were made available to the respective buyers.

as I trusted PayPal and your website I retried with different credit cards and now I have 3 identical themes in my download account…
...is there any way to change this to another theme or to put it on the deposit account?

How are things coming along with PayPal? Are there still transactions waiting to be processed? I’ve experienced a drastic sales decrease over the last two days. I’m actually hoping it’s because of this paypal issue… Might I be correct??

I just made a purchase as well for PhotoMosiac – I tried twice using different cards through PayPal and was denied both times at 11:57am CST on January 29. I actually needed two licenses so I’m cool with being charged twice, but I need to set up my product ASAP – I have a client project that needs this plugin! I have checked the details and it seems that this is an unrelated issue. You might need to contact PayPal directly with this issue.
Unfortunately it says that I need to contact the Merchant: This payment cannot be completed and your account has not been charged. Please contact your merchant for more information.
“Return to merchant and try a different payment method
We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant’s website and try using a different payment method (if available).”
I have no idea why this might be bouncing back – both accounts are free and clear cards – is there another way to pay aside from PayPal? It’s killing me that $8 is standing in the way of my website being ready to be showcased to the CEO.

The other thing I should mention – I’ve purchased themes through this site using these cards with my Campbelle profile – denied purchases are happening with my ISMC profile. One is personal, one is corporate. Don’t know if that makes a difference?

All PayPal payments on the marketplaces are being declined.
If you have a declined payment, please don’t try it repeatedly. PayPal may bill you multiple times.
We’ll try to ensure that all payments are processed correctly, but it might take some time, depending on what happens on PayPal’s end.

Heya PhilLarson,
It seems that this PayPal outage a few days ago has had quite an affect on the Marketplace as you can see. Everything is back to normal with the recent purchases, but the clean up after the outage is taking longer than expected.
I hope your sales are back to the norm
